Job Title: Territory Manager at Bal Seal Engineering

Description:

The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for increasing revenue and market share within the assigned territory by cultivating new revenue streams in both existing and new customers in core verticals such as Medical Devices, Aerospace and Defense, Analytical Instruments, Energy, and Diversified Industrials.

Operating under the Bloomfield, CT-based Kaman Corporation, Bal Seal Engineering is an innovative division that benefits from the agility and entrepreneurial spirit while leveraging the resources and capabilities of its parent company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance sales revenue, profit, and pipeline through a consultative and technical sales approach.
  • Achieve or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the territory while fostering strong communication and accountability.
  • Nurture existing customer relationships to drive revenue growth over plan and year over year (YOY).
  • Expand customer share of wallet by leveraging current relationships.
  • Create and execute account plans for top revenue positions.
  • Participate in business reviews with top revenue accounts per territory.
  • Implement value pricing aligned with customized solutions.
  • Utilize internal software for regional analysis and pricing strategies.
  • Identify and communicate growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support Market and Segment Expert Teams.
  • Engage in product design and application with the Engineering team.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B technical sales and account management within industries like Medical, Aerospace, and Defense.
  • Skills and Abilities: Technical sales expertise, relationship building, strong technical acumen, willingness to travel, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Office and online platforms.
  • The base salary range for this role is $100k-118k per year.
