Job Title: Milieu Support Specialist
Summary:
As a Milieu Support Specialist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary treatment team in a hospital setting, focusing on patients with eating disorders from childhood through adulthood.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
- Monitor patients and enforce program rules
- Assist in emergencies and codes
- Support patients and communicate changes in clinical status
- Conduct program activities and group sessions
- Document treatment sessions and coordinate patient walks
- Assist in administrative functions and supply management
- Mentor interns and collaborate with the treatment team
- Assist with physical care of patients
- Support customer service and performance improvement goals
- Perform other assigned duties
Credentials:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- Social Science bachelor's degree preferred
