Volt is immediately hiring for Logistic Customer Service Representative in Baytown, TX.
As a Logistic Customer Service Representative you will:
- Process orders for assigned customer
- Provide accurate and timely communication to customers
- Follow up on open orders daily
- Monitor delays, interruptions and rush orders and adjust accordingly to meet deadlines
- Follow up on export and packaging planning schedule to ensure customer products are processed within the lead time requested
- Problem solve ad hoc internal and external issues
- Improve efficiency of processes from a quality, cost and timing perspective
- Prepare KPI's and stock analysis
- Act as a backup for colleagues when needed
- Keep close and transparent communication with all teams on daily basis
- Actively participate in weekly internal and external meetings
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bilingual a PLUS
- Previous Experience with logistics, export, warehousing, or shipping lines
- Computer knowledge/ skills specifically with Microsoft word applications (Excel, Outlook, )
- Thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with customer service, supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual is a plus.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
