Role Description

This is a full-time salary only (no commission) on-site role for a Sales Consultant at Zen Renovations located in Washington, DC. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle including responding to customer inquiries regarding remodeling projects via email and phone. The Sales Consultant will qualify customers and, if qualified, schedule a site visit to assess the project. The Sales Consultant will need to be able to make assessments and recommendations for remodeling designs as well as be able to make structural assessments of clients' homes. The Sales Consultant will prepare estimates of project costs and prepare both design agreements as well as construction contracts. The sales consultant will also collaborate with the CEO to develop new sales and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales or customer service
  • Experience in construction or interior design is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the company's products and services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Diplomacy.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills in person, phone, email and text and via Zoom.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
