Duties:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquet events or catering services
  • Stay updated on current beverage trends and new drink recipes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably as a bartender or server
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
  • Strong math skills, including the ability to accurately handle cash transactions and calculate tips
  • Familiarity with retail math for inventory management purposes
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling various forms of payment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes
  • Understanding of the food industry, including food pairing recommendations
