Job Summary The candidate will operate and maintain various machines involved in secondary operations at a leather manufacturing plant. They will be responsible for setting up machines for orders, performing quality inspections on products, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting machinery issues. In other words, this job is about using big machines to make leather products. The worker sets up the machines for each new job, checks that everything made looks good and works right, and fixes any problems with the machines.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have:
  • Experience with Order Processing and Quality Inspection (2+ years at the same position)
  • Ability to perform TPM checks on machinery
  • Skills in Troubleshooting machinery issues
  • Familiarity with Machine Usage (2+ years at the same position)
Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Experience with Computer Controlled Machines

Skill Education
  • Order Processing : The management of the workflow required to fulfill customer orders which includes setting up machinery for production runs.
  • Quality Inspection : The process of checking goods or services to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) : A proactive maintenance approach focused on improving equipment effectiveness through preventive maintenance routines.
  • Troubleshoot : Identifying and resolving problems or defects that occur in the operation of machinery.
Other Qualifications :
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, follow directions
  • Verbal/written communication among employees, colleagues, and other staff

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
