Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for an experienced and skilled EDI Support Analyst with expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator to be part of our team.

The perfect candidate will have a solid background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and hands-on experience in offering technical support for EDI transactions using the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator platform.

As the EDI Support Analyst, your main tasks will involve ensuring the smooth operation of EDI processes, solving technical issues, and optimizing EDI workflows to meet our business needs.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact on our EDI and B2B Integration projects.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for EDI transactions, troubleshooting issues related to data transmission, document processing, and system integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Monitor EDI workflows and transaction logs within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator to identify errors, failures, or performance issues, and take proactive measures to resolve them promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring adherence to EDI standards and specifications.
  • Configure and maintain EDI maps, trading partner profiles, communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP), and business process workflows within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain custom services, adapters, and business processes within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator to support EDI transactions and integration with internal systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and validations of EDI data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules and regulations.
  • Document EDI processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, providing necessary training to end-users as required.
  • Stay informed about new technologies, trends, and best practices in EDI and B2B integration, and suggest enhancements to current systems.
  • Collaborate with different teams, including IT, operations, and customer service, to implement new EDI initiatives and streamline business processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant on-the-job experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in EDI support roles, possessing a strong grasp of EDI concepts, standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), and connection protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP).
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, including configuration, customization, mapping, translation, routing, trading partner management, and issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of B2B integration concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
