A well known aerospace company in Kent is looking to add a Senior Buyer to their growing team. This company has locations in 45 countries around the world and supports a variety of industries.

In this full-time, temporary to hire Senior Buyer role you will be researching and identifying suppliers, negotiating contract terms, evaluate supplier proposals, and issuing purchase orders.


Senior Buyer Job Duties:

  • Identify and recommend suppliers
  • Conduct supplier visits and evaluate them to meet business needs
  • Negotiate final contract terms
  • Maintain accurate lead times
  • Issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Evaluate supplier performance

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Pay:
$32-$50/hr

Senior Buyer Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement/buying
  • Strong computer skills- experience with MS Office and MRP systems
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Certificate in Purchasing Management a plus
