We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Analog Design Engineer to join our Power Management ICs team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-performance power management ICs for a variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics. You will be responsible for all aspects of the design cycle, from concept to production, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits for state-of-the-art power management ICs.
  • Architect and implement various power electronics topologies, including Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, and LDO regulators.
  • Leverage deep understanding of high-voltage semiconductor processes (such as Allegro's SG6.5 and SG8) to optimize designs for performance, area, and cost.
  • Perform detailed circuit simulations and analyses to ensure robust design margins and meet performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure design integrity and optimize for manufacturability.
  • Work closely with test engineers to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure successful product characterization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise to enhance the team's overall capabilities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, with a strong emphasis on power management.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Cadence analog design tools, including Virtuoso Schematic Editor, Virtuoso Layout Suite, and ADE.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and their impact on circuit design.
  • Extensive experience with various power management architectures, control techniques, and industry-standard design methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively analyze and interpret complex technical data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
