Job Duties:
- Work closely with customers and operators.
- Plan and engage in activities including internal design reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, testing, qualification, and coordinating customer visits if necessary.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the production team, including supervisors and production staff
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
- Monitor production processes, adjusting schedules as needed to ensure optimal efficiency and output
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs
- Experienced metal finishing professional specializing in electroplating with over 10 years of experience in both plating shops and captive plating departments.
- Proven leadership skills demonstrated by mentoring and managing multifaceted teams of at least 20 individuals.
- General knowledge of maintenance, particularly related to pumps, filters, and rectifiers for plating equipment.
- Basic understanding of wastewater treatment.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with Aerospace standards such as AS9100 D, NADCAP, and ITAR.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand multi-level BOMs.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship.
