Job Summary:


The Office Manager at Motor Inn of Carroll will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the dealership's office.

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the office and will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, located in Carroll, Iowa.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Office Manager will receive a competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour, paid biweekly.

In addition to the salary, this position may also be eligible for other benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the dealership's office operations, including but not limited to managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the office
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Manage and maintain the appointment calendar for the dealership's management team.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments as needed.
  • Prepare and process documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Keep accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and other officerelated activities.
  • Train and supervise other office staff, including receptionists and administrative assistants.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven customer service experience and ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and office management software.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and experience in bookkeeping desired.
  • Knowledge of the auto industry and related technologies is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
