Job Description

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Welcome guests promptly and professionally demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of bar and menu offerings, and provide recommendations.
  • Take beverage orders accurately and deliver them within specified timeframes in the bar and lounge area. In dine-in settings, this may extend to food orders.
  • Prepare beverages following recipes meticulously without deviations. Serve beer and wine in precise measurements.
  • Consistently utilize upselling techniques.
  • Verify the legal drinking age of all alcohol customers according to company policy, selling exclusively to guests aged 21 and above.
  • Adhere strictly to state, local, and company regulations governing responsible alcohol service. Ensure alcohol consumption only in designated areas.
  • Process all transactions precisely and within established guidelines.
  • Arrange and monitor adequate stock levels for the bar.
  • Keep the bar and lounge area, along with related equipment, clean and tidy.
  • Maintain a hygienic, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Finish all extensive cleaning and assigned duties before the shift ends.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Adhere to guidelines for the safe handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Capacity to work efficiently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Uphold AMC's business standards and ensure adherence to company policies and initiatives.
  • Maintain regular attendance for all scheduled shifts.

UNIFORM

  • Provided by the theater: Black t-shirt, name tag.
  • Provided by the employee: Black pants, black shoes, socks, black belt.
