Inventory Project Coordinator (Asset Inventorying and Organizing)_


Are you organized and experienced in organizing inventory? We are looking for an Asset Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Marlyn Nutraceuticals Inc.

and play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management of our process and packaging equipment and machines at a supplement manufacturing facility.

This position offers flexible working options, including part-time and project-based arrangements, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time opportunities or those in between jobs.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical asset inventorying and recording our manufacturing facility.
  • Physically identify and create computerized inventory records for equipment in current use or storage.
  • Update, document, and maintain accurate records of all assists (machinery and equipment, including serial numbers, descriptions, condition, pictures, tag information, and document location.
  • Perform visual inspections of machinery and equipment to assess condition, identify defects or damages, and complete asset tagging/labeling.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory information and fulfill specific requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in inventory records.
  • Organize plans to optimize storage space for machinery and equipment, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling and inspecting machinery and equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven computerizing and organizational skills in inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required.
  • Machinery and equipment experience preferred.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred.

Position Details
This project-based position is temporary/part-time for a 3 to 12 months period, with the possibility of permanent employment opportunities.
