Join our Project Management team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of materials for our manufactured products.
A Day In The Life
- Purchase project material
- Evaluate purchase decisions following established protocols
- Analyze purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
- Manage item master records
- Enhance item descriptions for future orders
- Verify quotes for precision
- Resolve purchase order issues promptly
- Handle order acknowledgements from suppliers
- Update and upkeep ECNs and NCNs
- Collaborate with project management and manufacturing teams for on-time material delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Source competitive pricing and new material suppliers
- High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred
- One to two years of purchasing experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Experience in quote reconciliation
- Strong phone etiquette
- Superior File Management abilities
