American Metals Supply is a growing metals distributor servicing the southeastern part of the USA with offices located in Tampa, FL.
Company was formed by a highly experienced group of people with many years of exposure to the aluminum market. We have developed systems and controls to ensure that material requirements are met as agreed. We take pride in "doing what we say". Associate
that enjoys working as a team in a very fast-paced environment to deliver value-added solutions.
Our sales associates never settle and are competitive & willing to take the initiative to put their customers first Most of all, they have the drive to grow the business continually and consistently.
The ideal candidate should be eager to grow in their sales career with excellent email communication skills.They should be comfortable building & maintaining relationships with our customer base while using their personality and possess positive energy to impact others and their working environment.
Competitive base pay along with a monthly incentive plan with potential to make $65,000 per year.Custom Service Associate Responsibilities:
Accept in-bound and make out-bound calls to new (cold-calling) and current customers to prospect for new/additional business.
Responsible for quoting sales orders based upon current market rates.
Essential to have contact communication with customers to ensure quality service. Let your personality shine to create an unmatched customer service experience.
Be an inquisitive, quick learner and pay attention to small details.
Practice effective time management to organize the day and avoid getting distracted.
Manage daily operation of orders to ensure the execution of delivery.
Provide inside sales support for our Outside Sales team.
Assist customers with identifying their needs and providing product knowledge assistance.
Assist in full life cycle of sales: creating quotes, entering orders, working with clients on customer service issues, problem resolution, etc.
Customer Service Associate Requirements:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be personable and accurate with numbers.
Industrial metal knowledge a plus, but not required.
Previous inside sales experience.
Have ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
