About the Position:


As a Patient Admissions Clerk at Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for various crucial tasks in the admission process. Your role involves interviewing incoming patients, assigning rooms, and ensuring all necessary data is correctly recorded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Differentiate between patients requiring immediate medical attention and those with minor issues.
  • Collect and verify all essential admitting information from patients.
  • Enter patient data into the hospital's Central Computer System.
  • Prepare required forms for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
  • Allocate beds based on patient's medical condition or room availability.
  • Organize and distribute patient records, forms, and materials.
  • Assist with clerical duties and provide receptionist support.
  • Maintain patient census logs and prepare monthly statistical reports.
  • Manage equipment and supplies effectively.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities when needed.
Requirements and Skills:


Applicants must demonstrate knowledge and skills related to patient care, including acquiring and interpreting patient information, understanding growth and development, and recognizing different treatment requirements. Additionally, candidates should exhibit competency in various tasks as per the job description.
