Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor at The Doe Run Company

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and engage with operations teams to schedule repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Assign and prioritize tasks to team members ensuring safe and efficient completion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance systems, HR, Safety, and related areas.
  • Collaborate with vendors to assess new products and services, enhancing operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee proper handling of hazardous waste, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan projects, scheduling maintenance to avoid production disruptions.
  • Ensure EHS compliance by enforcing safety policies, addressing concerns, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Perform any other duties as designated.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience with mobile and stationary equipment
  • Prior supervisory experience preferable
  • Background in the Mining Industry is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and Maintenance Management Systems
  • Skilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs
  • Familiarity with shafts, gearboxes, bearings, and sprockets
  • Basic electrical knowledge

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Regular computer and electronic device use; Handling of various hand tools
  • Occasional exposure to different weather conditions and moving mechanical parts
  • Protective gear and equipment required
  • Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting objects, among others
