About the Opportunity:
  • Job Title: Magnet & Mechanical Assembly
  • Pay: $19.55/Hour
  • Location: Shakopee, MN
  • Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon-Thurs 2:30PM-1AM with optional O/T
Daily functions:
  • Previous magnet or mechanical assembly experience required
  • Operate coil winding machines to transfer wire from spools to winding arbors, bobbins, and tubes to produce coils
  • Set guides, keys, and switches to prepare equipment for operation
  • Mount and position materials onto coils by crimping, soldering, brazing, or by other methods as required
  • Install connectors, plugs, wire guides, and other various components to magnet housing
  • Assemble coils into magnet housing
  • Prepare epoxy components for various products
  • Epoxy and cure coils and friction material into magnet housing and rotors
  • Inspect and test magnets and other goods
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
  • Help out in other departments if needed

  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills (standard and metric)
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to follow work written instructions accurately
  • Ability to do accurate work at a rapid pace
  • Ability to work with repetitive tasks
