***: Responsible for distributing exam materials, following exam instructions, closely monitoring exams to ensure all protocol is followed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Before the AP exam administration:

  • Ensure exam rooms conform to the seating requirements
  • Count and check the exams received for the exam administration upon arrival in the exam room
  • Confirm the exam title of each AP Exam to be sure that no other exams are included.
  • Set up exam equipment (CD players and recording devices/equipment) required to administer exams in world languages, cultures, and Music Theory. Proctors may also need to assist students with equipment during the exam
  • Prepare the specific accommodations needed for students with disabilities, and for exams with extended time, understand how to time each section
  • Admit and assign seats to students

During the AP exam administration:

  • Ensure that the proper seating distance is maintained between students.
  • Distribute testing materials
  • Assist students with filling out their identifying information on answer sheets
