General Summary:

The Senior Staff Nurse is a professional position coordinating the delivery of patient care on designated unit. In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, coordinates, implements, and evaluates patient care to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and therapeutic nursing care to patients of all age groups.



Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field preferred
  • Two years of current hospital experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Current OH RN license; Basic Life Support certification


Working Conditions:

Exposure to biohazardous waste requires strict adherence to universal precautions. The role involves considerable standing, walking, and patient handling tasks.



Leadership Responsibility:

The Senior Staff Nurse plays a key role in coordinating patient care and teaching, directing activities of nursing personnel, and maintaining professional standards within the hospital's policies and procedures.



Hours:

Shift: Days

Hours: 7:00AM - 7:30PM

Hours per pay period: Varies

Work schedule includes 3-12hr shifts every 6 weeks, with work every 3rd weekend.
