Position Overview:


As a Retail Security Officer with Industry Security Services, Inc., you will be at the forefront of our commitment to safety and loss prevention.

Your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure retail environment, deterring theft, providing excellent customer service, and responding to security concerns.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular patrols within the retail store to prevent and detect theft and vandalism.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activities.
  • Provide a visible and reassuring presence to customers and staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers and staff, offering assistance and answering securityrelated questions.
  • Handle security incidents and emergencies professionally and efficiently.
  • Enforce store policies and regulations as needed.
  • Create detailed incident reports when necessary.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in security is a plus).
  • Proven experience in retail security or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with security equipment and technology.
  • A valid guard card and relevant licensing, where required.
