Job Title: Research Studies Coordinator

Key Functions:

  • Provides administrative coordination of research studies and ensures on-time performance:
    • Establishes a system for developing research programs, including writing, processing, submission, and protocol maintenance.
    • Prepares and organizes regulatory documents for submission.
    • Facilitates regulatory steps with sponsors promptly.
    • Develops a tracking system for protocol paperwork.
    • Collects criteria information for protocol submission.
    • Manages protocol databases and tools.
    • Handles CR Study Registration processes.
    • Assists in preparing and submitting study results for clinical trials.
    • Develops SOPs related to regulatory processes.
  • Assists in the analysis and quality assurance of clinical research information:
    • Coordinates monitoring and audits with sponsors or clinical research organizations.
    • Provides timely responses to queries.
  • Supports research staff, providing education and training:
    • Trains Clinical Research Program Coordinators.
    • Serves as a mentor regarding regulatory compliance.
    • Communicates upcoming deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Assists with Administrative Research Functions:
    • Completes required reports promptly.
    • Participates in protocol start-up meetings and close-out visits.
  • Communicates effectively to foster a positive environment:
    • Demonstrates proactive communication skills.
    • Initiates assignments independently.
    • Advocates for clinical research process adherence.
    • Includes other assigned duties.

Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Required: Four years of related experience. With a preferred degree, no experience is necessary.
