Job Title: Seasonal Rental Event Assistant

At Music Arts, we are passionate about music education and dedicated to supporting the educators shaping the future generation of musicians. Join us in our mission through the Be Part of the Music program, where we offer free resources to educators to encourage more students to engage in music.

In this role, you will assist in organizing rental events at schools within your assigned area. You will collaborate with Educational Representative(s) to complete administrative tasks and physical activities related to event preparation and execution. Interacting with parents and students during events to facilitate rental transactions will also be part of your responsibilities.

Essential Functions (not exhaustive):
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks like pre/post-event documentation and inventory tagging.
  • Assist in physical labor activities such as loading/unloading inventory and event setup/breakdown.
  • Utilize contactless applications for order processing during events.
  • Maintain professional communication with various stakeholders including sales reps, parents, students, and occasionally educators or administrators.
  • Travel to/from event locations for preparation and actual events, typically hosted at schools in your designated area.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned and complete all mandatory training.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferences:
  • Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Band and Orchestral instruments.
