Job Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepares individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; builds internal collaborative networks for self and others. Stays up to date with organizational best practices, processes, benchmarks, and industry trends; shares best practices within and across teams. Motivates and empowers teams; maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives. Provides guidance when difficult decisions need to be made; creates opportunities for expanded scope of decision making and impact.
  • Oversees the operation of multiple units within a department by identifying member and operational needs; ensures the management of work assignment completion; translates business strategy into actionable business requirements; ensures products and/or services meet member requirements and expectations while aligning with organizational strategies. Gains crossfunctional support for business plans and priorities; assumes responsibility for decision making; sets standards, measures progress, and fosters resolution of escalated issues. Communicates goals and objectives; analyzes resources, costs, and forecasts and incorporates them into business plans; prioritizes and distributes resources. Removes obstacles that impact performance; guides performance and develops contingency plans accordingly; ensures teams accomplish business objectives.
  • Guides other groups within or outside the company by: overseeing consultants executing systems or regionwide change initiatives, regionwide culture change programs, and performance initiatives while also advising the creation of impactful management initiatives.
  • Manages the design and development of trainings by: overseeing content creation, recommending, and implementing uptodate strategic and futureoriented content (e.g., course curricula, training aids, and other supporting materials), and ensuring curriculum accuracy; managing the creation of strategic training methods (e.g., elearning, inperson, classroom, onsite, justintime support, web sessions, blended learning, and conference calls), developing programs, assessing the cost, retention, and effort of using the appropriate learning modality; providing directions to ensure business decisions are aligned with KP goals and accountable for training objectives for training modules, directing the revision of training modules and supporting materials; monitoring the prioritization of longterm learning goals and objectives are in alignment with strategic and futuredriven business unit learning goals; and refining the implementation process of alternative training techniques, procedures, and/or methods while reorganizing program processes.
  • Leads the evaluation of programs training needs by: leading highly complex work across functions and monitoring the needs assessment results across the enterprise to strategize for future program development.
  • Assesses process improvement of trainings by: using expert knowledge to evaluate creation of processes, methodologies, and performance measures to assess the effectiveness of programs while continuously improve organizational performance and programs to establish outcomes for large functions and or markets.
  • Oversees completion of projects by: reviewing program plans and determining program demands for the most complex program initiatives in order to identify and manage scope, and supply appropriate staffing to complete program plans within scope, budget, and schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
  • Bachelors Degree in Education, Management, Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, or a directly related field AND minimum ten (10) years of experience in training delivery, curriculum design, and training development and evaluation, or a directly related field, OR Minimum thirteen (13) years of experience in the areas of training delivery, curriculum design, training development and evaluation, or a directly related field.
