About the Position:
- Full-time role with local routes, offering daily home time.

Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Company LP (MPC) is looking for a skilled light products transport driver in Covington, KY. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products to various destinations including regional terminals and refineries. Working under local fleet management, you will uphold specified policies and procedures.

Benefits:
  • Hourly Rates: $33.48
  • Total Compensation: Up to $132,000
  • Insurance: Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage starting day 1
  • Retirement: 401k with up to 7% company match, Company-funded pension plan up to 11%
  • Annual bonus: Eligibility for company-sponsored bonus, Paid parental leave, Education reimbursement

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Class A Commercial Driver's License:
    • Ensure a satisfactory driving record and consent to driving record review by the company.
    • Registration with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse for record review.
    • Ability to drive interstate.
  • License - Restrictions: Proficient in manual and/or automatic transmission
  • Active CDL Endorsements: Hazardous Materials and Tank Vehicle (Required), TWIC (Required based on fleet), Double/Triple Trailers

Shift Requirements:
  • Capability to work up to a 12-hour AM/PM shift
  • Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours

Responsibilities Include:
  • Conduct pre-trip inspection following MPC policy and DOT regulations.
  • Drive transport vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while adhering to all laws and regulations.
  • Perform post-trip inspection and ensure readiness for the next shift.
  • Communicate incidents and concerns according to company procedures.
  • Report equipment issues promptly.
  • Adhere to safety rules, operating procedures, and DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Comfort working at heights, lifting 50-65 lbs, prolonged sitting, and gripping a steering wheel

Screening Requirements:
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and consent to record review.
  • Pass drug and alcohol screenings, DOT physical, safety background check, and criminal background check.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating required equipment through exams and road tests.
