Seattle, Washington, United States Lacework Full time

At Lacework, we strive to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where people are empowered to do the best work of their careers.

Our team members enjoy solving complex problems, big sky thinking, and obsess over getting the details right.

We love what we do and are proud of our work to secure clouds and container environments for thousands of users worldwide.

The Lacework Vulnerability Management platform enables enterprises to secure their cloud environments by preventing exploitation of software vulnerabilities.

In the cloud, traditional security tools can't keep pace with the ephemeral nature of an environment - hosts and containers are short-lived, and are created and subsequently destroyed frequently and at scale.

Vulnerabilities, both known and unknown, are growing with the increased usage of open source software in particular.

Without a Vulnerability Management solution, you could have visibility gaps that leave the door open for exploitation and puts enterprise data at risk.

At Lacework, our platform supports CISOs to make investment and divestment decisions, domain experts to identify and prioritize remediation, and developers and security engineers to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

We're on a journey to make our Vulnerability Management platform capable of intelligently self-managing a Vulnerability Management program end-to-end - immediately identifying, prioritizing and remediating software vulnerabilities.

We're looking for an Engineering leader passionate about Security Engineering.

About the Role:
Leading a team of engineers in the implementation and deployment of Lacework's Vulnerability Management platform
Acting as a player/coach within the team, supporting the teams needs and allowing them to get to the best solutions while adding value for our customers
Build robust and flexible build and test automation pipelines around all functionality to ensure CI/CD practices and large scale test automation are the norm
Working closely with partner teams in engineering, product management, and customer facing teams to define a charter and a roadmap for the team that balances the outside-in perspective against the inside-out, while also finding harmony between tactical and strategic solutions
Partner with platform and infrastructure engineering to improve both agility and quality of the Lacework product, supporting rapid CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code constructs to automate everything from testing to production delivery
Define our product vision alongside cross-functional stakeholders in support of our highly valued customers
Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
10+ years of hands-on experience with customer-facing product development
Demonstrated experience working within or leading a Security-focused Engineering team
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with cloud computing and deployment of SaaS software
Strong knowledge of SaaS deployments, microservices & relational databases
Demonstrated ability to design for scalability, performance, and reliability
Working knowledge/experience with modern cloud deployment models (including containers, object stores, secrets & access managers, etc.)
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

Salary Range:
$220k - $250k USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus + Equity
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training and skill level.
