The incumbent will report to the Manager of the Information Security Oversight Unit as an Information Security Oversight Analyst. The analyst will be part of a team that addresses security inquires for the enterprise. The incumbent will conduct security assessments, risk assessment, identify security controls, perform security control gap analysis and act as the subject matter expert for complex Information Technology (IT) projects for system security application and system design. The incumbent provides technical direction and mentor for all IT staff within the scope of the project. The incumbent is responsible for multi-disciplinary research, planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing Information Security tasks at the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) including policy development and enforcement. This position performs functions that fall within the Information Technology domain of Information Security Engineering.
