Law Enforcement Liaison at WiredPeople

Overview:
This position involves working as part of a team to support the adoption of the Florida Violent Death Reporting System (FLVDRS) by law enforcement agencies. The role will be based in Tallahassee or surrounding areas and requires up to 20 hours per week commitment as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination and technical assistance to integrate law enforcement data into the FLVDRS.
  • Build partnerships with law enforcement agencies for data sharing.
  • Act as a point of contact for law enforcement agencies.
  • Keep accurate records of all activities.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and events as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of law enforcement agencies and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to organize information effectively.
