What will you be doing?
As a Production Manager at CertainTeed/Saint-Gobain, you will play a vital role in driving productivity, quality, and overall operations efficiency. Your responsibilities include:
- Directly overseeing Production Supervisors to ensure safe & efficient processes
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement
- Supervising production processes to maintain quality standards
- Training production employees on equipment operation & safety procedures
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure production schedule adherence
- Implementing strategies to minimize production-related losses
- Maintaining workplace organization for optimal efficiency
- Conducting employee performance reviews & development processes
What are we looking for?
- Preferably a 4-year degree in Engineering (relevant experience considered)
- Over 5 years of Supervisory experience (manufacturing background preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Kronos & SAP familiarity is a plus)
- Knowledge of ISO standards and OSHA regulations
- Strong communication skills and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Ability to plan and execute production efficiently while ensuring safety & quality
