Sanitation Tech

Shift:
This position offers a 3rd Shift schedule running from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.Compensation:
$21.67 per hour along with a $1.00 shift differential.

• Support in maintaining plant sanitation by efficiently using chemicals, cleaning procedures, and sanitation equipment.
• Disassemble and clean equipment according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and USDA guidelines to adhere to regulatory standards.
• Ensure elimination of contamination sources, uphold low bacteria levels, and report any damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Proficiency in handling various chemicals and sanitation protocols related to food safety.
• Capable of working safely within specified time constraints.
• Familiarity with all chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
• Skilled in equipment assembly and disassembly for production purposes.
• Required certification in Lock out/Tag out procedures.
• Adaptability to varying environmental conditions like hot or cold, wet, and steamy environments.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Perform job duties while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Physically capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Flexible availability to accommodate production schedules.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
