Department Overview

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Vice President of Land, Environmental and Permitting Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direction: Provides leadership on legacy contamination issues, regulatory standards, financial, and environmental goals. Ensures proactive identification and resolution of emerging issues.
  • Remediation Program Management: Manages technical and non-technical aspects to enhance the program's reputation. Reduces business risks through effective procedures.
  • Oversight and Governance: Directs and oversees the Remediation department, ensuring policy adherence, process efficiency, and problem resolution.
  • Building Partnerships: Establishes relationships with various stakeholders, internally and externally, negotiating regularly.
  • Travel required for project oversight and networking opportunities.

Background Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 12+ years of experience with 5 years in environmental disciplines, 3 years in remediation, 5+ years in people management, and 5 years of program leadership.

Desired

  • Advanced degree in relevant field.
  • 10 years PG&E experience, 10 years of people management, and 7 years of external relations.
