Work directly with the Process and CAD teams to create innovative layout, verify the layout working with Advanced Mask Development and OPC teams to simulate drawings.
Plan and document the layout with Design customers. Plan and layout the design to Design and Process customer specification. Verify quality of layout through DRC, LVS, and other vendorsupplied and in-house verification tools.Interpret and apply Design Rules and confirm they are checking as intended, applying knowledge of CMOS process, working with Process customers.
Develop and Document layout tools and methodologies to improve quality, working with CAD or through coding. Identify issues, and provide solutions through communication and innovation.Lead sections of the layout design, planning and coordinating work with local and global teams, verifying quality for Design and Process customers.
Develop and prepare multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering.
Check dimensions, write specifications, and verify completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots. Check design layouts and detailed drawings.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a Layout/Mask Designer - related occupation.
