Role Overview:

As a Senior Analytics Engineer within our Analytics Engineering and Data Warehousing group, your main responsibility will be to develop the fundamental service that supplies data across the organization. You will focus on constructing data models that serve as the foundation for our crucial operational and strategic data-driven decisions.

Working closely with our finance teams, you will be involved in constructing and maintaining a data warehouse platform that offers timely, precise, and dependable data used to determine performance indicators and incentives for thousands of employees.

Main Duties:

  • Establish connections with data analytic teams and business executives to comprehend their objectives, projects, and the data solutions they require.
  • Aid in designing, building, and managing an enterprise data warehouse platform along with its related data models and transformation pipelines.
  • Implement top practices and inventive solutions to deliver prompt, accurate, and reliable data.
  • Collaborate on deploying a high-performance data warehouse platform (Snowflake) catering to numerous users and various use cases.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the deployment of data architecture to enhance efficiency and dependability.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling and data warehousing development (SSIS, dbt, Matillion, or similar tools).
  • Proficient in SQL and cloud warehouse design principles.
  • Over 2 years of professional exposure, particularly with Snowflake, Redshift, Data Factory, or BigQuery. Preference given to Snowflake proficiency.
  • 2+ years of experience with Git, code assessments, CI/CD environment.
  • Effective communication skills with business officials and engineers to concentrate on high-impact opportunities. Demonstrates sound judgment and keen business intuition to distinguish between essential and non-essential aspects and make prudent decisions regarding trade-offs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or relevant job experience.

Desired Expertise:

  • Familiarity with SSIS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (python, .net, R, etc.).

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This role is situated in a professional office setup and entails the use of typical office tools like computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines.
