Location: Garland, TX

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems with production equipment, including conveyor systems, mixers, pumps, and packaging machines
  • Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems used in the production process
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document maintenance and repair activities in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and provide regular reports to the Maintenance Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food production or processing environment
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with PLCs and other control systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
