Job Description:


Elmwood Primary Care, part of the primary care department of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a family medicine physician to join our busy practice in the Kennebec Valley region.

This is a traditional outpatient practice, providing a wide range of care: pediatrics, adult medicine, gynecology, and geriatric medicine.

Procedural care, such as osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, minor surgery, and acupuncture, is encouraged, though not required; the ability to perform medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder is also available.

The practice currently is staffed with four physicians and two nurse practitioners, two physician assistants and one psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

In addition to primary care we also an offer onsite laboratory, and integrated behavioral health and care management.
