Preferred Qualifications:

  • - Assist with material handling of raw components and finished goods to ensure smooth operation of the production line
    - Maintain production key metrics (throughput, scrap, quality) with a strong sense of attention to detail and urgency regarding line uptime, scrap limits, and quality checks/concerns
    - Perform basic machine resets and minor equipment adjustments
    - Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
    - Verify completion and accuracy of quality checks, tally sheets, and other production documents
    - Demonstrate positive motivation and team-oriented work ethic
    - Conduct 5S tasks to uphold a clean and organized work environment
    - Adhere to Corporate and Plant policies and procedures
    - Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as necessary to support production
    - Undertake additional assigned responsibilities
    - Job involves lifting requirements of 35 lbs; ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, turn, and squat when needed

    PREFERRED SKILLS:
    - Capacity to acquire and apply troubleshooting knowledge and skills
    - Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-paced production setting
    - Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving
    - Basic mechanical aptitude
    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
    - Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    - Fluency in English (bilingualism is a plus)
    - High school diploma or equivalent

    Reporting to the Master Technician, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production Manager, the Automation Technician I is responsible for the output, quality, and efficiency of the production line.
