Manager of Finance & Accounting

Now recruiting on behalf of a spectator sports company on the north side of Atlanta for a Finance & Accounting leader. The company offers a competitive benefits and compensation package (including 401k match), a fun culture, recognizable name, and stability.

The Manager of Finance & Accounting will have diverse responsibilities that include: financial reporting, month end close, reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting/forecasting, financial analysis, variance analysis and profitability analysis. This role will supervise one staff and directly support the President with understanding financial results and making recommendations as a trusted business partner.

The right candidate for this role will have:
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's in Accounting preferred)
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Experience with both finance and accounting tasks, including: running the month end close, financial reporting, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues
  • History of job stability is required for this opportunity
