Overview:


The Wellbeing Manager, Physical and Emotional Wellbeing Consulting is a first level supervisory position primarily focused on managing day-to-day workflow for a team of Physical and Emotional Wellbeing Consultants and Senior Consultants (Wellbeing Consultants).

The Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and training Wellbeing Consultants; building process and procedure around standard consulting practices and holding Wellbeing Consultants accountable to standards of success.

In this role, you will also act as a Senior Wellbeing Consultant supporting clients as needed and managing escalated issues from the Wellbeing Consultants.


Responsibilities:


Provide training, mentorship and management to a team of Wellbeing Consultants; manage the team's daily workflow in order to achieve a high performing output while maintaining exceptional service standards; encourage continuous learning, sharing transparent feedback, and lead strong talent development.

Develop standardized process and deliverables for servicing clients with metrics of measurement for effectiveness.

Capture client stories and case studies demonstrating the value and contributions of the Physical and Emotional Wellbeing Consulting team.


Establish clear process and sustained engagement by the team in required GBS systems such as BigTime, DMS, AMP, and others.


Manage a book of clients as needed acting in the role of a Senior Consultant to support the team and client needs.

Support local and regional prospecting efforts such finalist presentations, prospect meetings, and speaking engagements

Work collaboratively with branch and regional leadership to determine clients' wellbeing consulting needs and deliver meaningful and actionable reporting about client support

Foster positive working relationships with all internal departments and personnel; actively participating in and promoting a positive and collaborative culture

Collaborate with Wellbeing Team leadership to grow and evolve the Wellbeing consulting practice at Gallagher.

Qualifications:

Required:
Bachelor's degree; Minimum 7 years of experience in the Health/Wellness field (vendor, carrier, corporate, Broker/Consulting).

Knowledge of health care regulations.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must be able to travel (up to 40% travel).

Desired:
Master's Degree or higher preferred, preferably in Public Health, Physical Sciences, Nutrition or other related field.

Business development or sales experience.


Minimum 10 years' experience in the Health/Wellness field (vendor, carrier, corporate, broker/consulting) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Prior consulting or employee benefits experience

Minimum 5 years' experience as a people manager, leading a team, mentoring, and coaching.

Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on priorities and goal setting

Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to clients in a clear and concise manager

Ability and interest in presenting to large groups and public speaking (virtual and in-person)


Ability and interest in writing thought leadership documents such as white papers, training materials, presentations, case studies, and responding to media requests.

Ability to articulate and sell the value of Physical and Emotional Wellbeing Consulting products and services
