Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee construction site operations and manage subcontractors to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Serve as Site Superintendent/Construction Manager and lead on-site activities, managing on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Manage and control construction schedules, effectively and proactively resolving quality and schedule issues.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements and USACE standards.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and submit them to the USACE for approval.
  • Submit daily reports detailing on-site activities, including inspections, tests, and other quality-related events.
  • Manage and track submittals, ensuring that all materials, products, and services used in the project meet the specified quality standards.

Requirements

  • Experience and active knowledge of The Government's QCS (Quality Control System) for schedule management and quality control requirements.
  • Ability to lead on-site activities and manage on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing project requirements. The Site Superintendent/Construction Manager will be responsible for leading on-site activities and managing on-site personnel and subcontractors. The position will require frequent travel to project sites and occasional work in an office environment.
