Role Description

Essential Functions

  • Assist in water treatment laboratory experiments including plasma experiments
  • Follow procedures for participating in and executing analytical laboratory tests using instrumentation and reagents
  • Organize and store chemicals, solutions, compressed gasses and other supplies according to lab protocols
  • Clean and store glassware, maintain equipment, and assist in ordering laboratory supplies; update inventories
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment
  • Data entry; record and format data accurately and professionally
  • Provide quality control of all sampling and data recordings as a standard operating procedure
  • Receive and label incoming and outcoming analytical test samples; general company shipping and receiving at the lab site

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement 21 years old
  • College associate degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience
  • Basic chemistry knowledge
  • Located near King of Prussia, PA
  • Collegelevel courses in science and engineering and math
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, SolidWorks
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
  • Occasional lifting lbs.), storage and office environment

Work Environment

  • Lab: Training for procedures will be provided including for experimental work and analytical instrumentation
  • Office: Standard office equipment; work usually performed in an office setting free from any disagreeable elements
  • Ability to work (1) day per weekend as needed
  • Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours
