Job Title:
Senior Project Manager

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects within budget and on schedule.


Responsibilities :

Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Management:
Oversee the allocation of resources including labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Quality Control and Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure that construction meets regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to identify and address any deficiencies promptly.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress, milestones, and any changes.
Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Facilitate effective communication among project team members to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Project Execution and Oversight:
Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects, including coordinating work schedules, monitoring progress, and resolving issues as they arise.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
Generate comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and practices, with expertise in commercial construction projects.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Project).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
PMP or other relevant certifications preferred.
