Job Description: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Wilkesboro, North Carolina area. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Job Details:
- On site or Remote
- PreK- 12
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide therapy services to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Administer swallowing assessments and implement dysphagia treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or eligibility for certification).
- Valid North Carolina state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Prior experience working in a school setting
- IEP experience preferred but not required
- Experience working with AAC devices
