OnsiteThe Computing Products Department (CPD) has an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer.

The department is responsible for the development and sustainment of state of the art avionics products including high performance and high assurance processing platforms, video and graphics processing modules, high-bandwidth networking solutions, and control panels used in rotary wing, tanker, and transport aircraft platforms for military and commercial markets.

Our products employ technologies including:

FPGA and ASIC digital logic; PowerPC, Intel, and ARM embedded processing resources; avionics IO including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and Ethernet; Video interfaces including SMPTE, DVI, and DisplayPort.

Typical position responsibilities include circuit card design and integration testing, qualification testing, support of manufacturing build and test, and production support for new and legacy products.

New circuit card design and integration efforts include capturing requirements, implementing hardware design solutions using schematic entry tools, working with printed circuit card designers to develop printed wiring board layout, working with technicians to debug and test hardware, and integrating hardware with other system elements, and documentation of performance for requirements verification purposes.

Responsibilities include top-level product development, circuit card and sub-level module development, product qualification, product transition, and product sustainment over the life cycle of the design.

The Senior Electrical Engineer role also has opportunities for project engineer and control account management (PE/CAM), and has high expectations for leadership within a design team, and communication to our internal and external customers.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently on assigned tasks is a must.
This position may be eligible for relocation.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceU.S.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
