Job Summary:
The UKG Ready Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting Payroll and HR outsourcing clients by offering effective HR recommendations, managing benefit programs, creating employee handbooks and job descriptions, and overseeing various HR functions.
Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a go-to resource and advisor on HR matters, offering recommendations on best practices.
  • Coordinate employee life cycles from onboarding to offboarding and manage tasks like benefits enrollment, performance appraisal, and employee relations.
  • Lead client-specific projects such as HR strategy development and policy creation.
  • Support worksite employee benefits administration, including enrolling new hires and providing general benefit information.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Technicians on employee payroll matters.
  • Assist in managing Workers' Comp Claims and employees' leave of absence requests.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local laws and HR best practices.
Qualifications:
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year in an HR Generalist Role
  • At least 1 year of experience with UKG Ready or Kronos
  • 1+ years in HR Outsourcing or client-facing positions
Professional Licenses/Certifications
  • Preferred: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
Essential Skills/Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Education
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
