Production Quality & Services Supervisor

Location: Big Lake, MN

Type: Onsite, Permanent

The role of the Production Quality and Services Supervisor is key to ensuring the quality of the packaging products and services. Leading the company's quality initiatives and overseeing the after-sales service group, this position is dedicated to guaranteeing the highest level of customer satisfaction. Effective communication with other departments is crucial to maintain quality standards and meet customer expectations.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding service and support to customers for retention purposes.
  • Address department issues and client complaints to implement solutions for recurring problems.
  • Develop and maintain quality checklists for all finished goods.
  • Utilize the return material authorization module (RMA) to analyze quality-related data.
  • Suggest improvements in design and assembly procedures to enhance product performance.
  • Supervise the service group to ensure customer satisfaction with after-sales services.
  • Oversee on-site installations and field services.
  • Offer technical support to customers and field technicians as needed.
  • Travel to customer sites for installations and field services when necessary.
  • Review electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Collaborate with Production teams to build equipment and understand product quality metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and multimeter use.
  • Experience with PLC or similar control software.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing products.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Computer literacy in ERP software systems and Microsoft Word.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Positive team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
