Job Summary:

The Portfolio Specialist assists the Portfolio Manager in managing the Asset Recovery solution set for the Modern Workplace Services business unit. The Portfolio Specialist will prepare and deliver customer presentations, gather marketing and competitive analysis, assist with RFP responses, deliver sales enablement training, and act as a solution subject matter expert for the solution set.

This role will also collaborate with Sales Executives to determine the partners and pricing for opportunities. They will assist the Sales Teams in closing sales opportunities by providing pre-sales support for sales opportunities and acting as a solution subject matter expert on sales calls.

This position reports to the Director of Portfolio and will assist in developing the overall solution strategy to meet Managed Workplace Services business unit objectives.

This position is required to report to the Somerset, NJ or Austin, Texas office location.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in evaluating market trends and competitors, to create strategies for delivering and marketing of the MWS IT Asset Recovery solution set.
  • Identify the teams, partners, and processes for delivering these solution sets.
  • Working with partners to develop customer offerings and assist in providing pricing to customers.
  • Assist in developing Go to Market Strategy for the solution and provide assistance and training support for the sales teams.
  • Develop and evolve technology partnerships.
  • Assist the sales teams in closing opportunities and growing their assigned solution(s) revenue and gross margin.
  • Assist with proposals and bid opportunities and develop appropriate sales enablement materials to arm the sales teams with the necessary information to win the business.
  • Ensure sales provide all necessary information before processing an order.
  • Request third-party quotes.
  • Assist in the creation of customer-facing quotes.
  • Assist with Vendor Management to ensure third-party vendors adhere to agreed-upon processes and Service level attainment.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree or commensurate experience.
  • 3 -5 years experience working in a Product Sales environment.
  • 3 5 years experience in the IT Asset Recovery business environment.
Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of IT asset recovery business is preferred
  • Excellent organization, communication, verbal & written skills.
  • Must be results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-study and independent work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.

Unique Requirements:
  • Travel as necessary. (10% or less expected)
