***Part-Time*** position(s), with ability to go to ***Full-Time*** are available to help clients maintain independence through homecare and personal assistance.
***This position complies with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rule, which requires that employees working in certain programs are fully vaccinated unless you have a medical or religious exemption****.**
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Observation of client functioning and reporting changes to his/her supervisor or employer. Takes initiative in notifying supervisor of changes in client.
Assist with household chores, i.e. plan/cook meals, make/change beds, dust, dishes, vacuum, sweep/mop/wax floors, clean kitchen/bathroom and laundry.
Assistance in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside of the home.
Completion of appropriate records documenting service provision. Follows Plan of Care, reports changes in daily work and calendar.
Present an open, positive, professional image to all clients and individuals in their support system, co-workers and public by displaying courtesy and respect at all times and under all circumstances.
Assist with shave, medication reminders, nail care, dressing, etc.
**Qualifications:**
At least 18 years of age or older.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
One year experience in home care field or comparable human service capacity or experience care of a dependent child or adult family member.
Ability to use technology.
An ability to show compassion for the needs of clients.
An ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
Able to speak English and to be a good listener.
