As the Project Manager for the Operations group, you will coordinate all strategic and tactical projects across worldwide Operations. You will collaborate closely with various project leaders, PMO peers in other functional areas and the executive leadership team to drive alignment on strategic initiatives, prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of results. The position will report to the SVP of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all strategic and tactical projects for the worldwide Operations team
  • Create and manage project management framework used to track project progression, critical path, task interdependencies, resource allocation etc.
  • Design and manage project intake and prioritization processes
  • Partner with key functional leaders and project managers across the enterprise to ensure alignment on delivering key strategic initiatives
  • Review roadmap and/or timeline changes impacting operations projects and work with various leaders to adapt and adjust accordingly
  • Help define and measure the deliverables, success criteria and ROI for projects
  • Measure and manage resource allocation across projects to ensure resources are effectively used to deliver the right initiatives
  • Provide visibility to execute leadership team around project progression, milestone achievement, potential roadblocks and mitigation steps
  • Ensure projects are kept on track and status updates are provided on a regular basis
  • Ensure swift decision making by surfacing issues and removing roadblocks
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management workflow
  • Create, maintain, deploy and drive compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to project management across the operations team
  • Train business leaders in project management tools and techniques
  • Keep abreast of and help adapt to new tools and techniques in the project management space
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in operations or supply chain domain
  • Deep working knowledge of project management suites like ClickUp, , MS Project, etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills including but not limited to workforce planning, scheduling, resource allocation, financial planning etc.
  • Deep experience in managing a portfolio of projects of significant complexity and duration, serving as the focal point of providing project related information such as project plan, status reports, risks, dependencies, critical paths etc.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and present logical conclusions
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task and manage workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership teams
  • Strategic thinker with a comfort level to deal with ambiguous and dynamic situations
  • Familiarity with process automation and operational excellence tools
