Position Summary:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team This exciting new role involves storing, analyzing, and communicating clinical-based and genomic data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create descriptive data summaries with visualizations and written descriptions for various audiences
  • Contribute to publications, reports, and presentations
  • Provide technical support for data analysis
  • Develop data storage systems
  • Design and conduct analyses on diverse data sources
  • Implement data quality assurance
  • Automate data management processes
  • Ensure data security compliance
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries
  • Process and clean datasets
  • Acquire data from different sources
  • Perform bioinformatics and statistical analyses
  • Assist in developing software tools

Minimum Qualifications: To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, knowledge of data management best practices, research methods, and experience with statistical software programs such as SAS, Stata, and/or R. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in a relevant field and experience with Hadoop and/or SQL are preferred. Familiarity with genomic data, clinical information, and programming languages like R and Python is advantageous.

Skills and Specifications: The ideal candidate will have familiarity with genomic data, experience with programming languages, knowledge of biostatistics and epidemiology, and problem-solving abilities.

Candidates should be effective communicators and team players.
