WHO WE ARE SEARCHING FOR

We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Converse Finance team at our Boston, MA headquarters. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting Converse in developing and managing business strategies that foster sustainable growth while enhancing the brand. They will conduct financial analyses and provide insights to support business decision-making and identify strategic opportunities.

To excel in this position, we are seeking a proactive self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse collaborators and deliver results in challenging situations using financial acumen.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ENGAGED IN

If this sounds like you, you will be responsible for delivering timely and informative financial analyses that empower our business partners to make well-informed portfolio decisions. You will also ensure that leaders understand and interpret financial reports, metrics, and key performance indicators. Your critical support will involve:

  • Preparing and sharing financial analyses to track progress against strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts and to aid in making marketplace decisions.
  • Monitoring monthly advancements compared to budgets/targets and collaborating with business partners to ensure accountability.
  • Actively interpreting and reviewing financial outcomes with senior leaders, including identifying trends/issues and opportunities, to elicit actionable responses.

WHO YOU WILL COLLABORATE WITH

You will engage in cross-functional collaboration with various teams, including Operations, Planning, Marketing, Merchandising, Strategy, and Controlling. Additionally, you will work closely with Global and Geography Finance teams to furnish financial insights and reports to the CFO and Leadership team.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing operating budgets, cost accounting, P&L management, financial analysis, and/or financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively convey status, issues/risks, and opportunities to leadership
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and handling multiple, competing priorities and requests while upholding high standards of quality and attention to detail
  • Consistent track record of establishing influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and hierarchies
  • An inherent curiosity to explore, learn, and exercise intellectual curiosity
  • Deep enthusiasm and dedication to the Converse brand

At Converse, the annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,400.00 in our lowest geographic area to $153,700.00 in our highest geographic region. The actual salary may vary based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Details about benefits can be obtained internally.
